* I started Analog Pedals in 2018. Basically just making pedals for some friends here in Kentucky. Steve Jewell Jr, was playing guitar in the blues band OTIS and he asked if I could make him a Univibe style pedal. I took up the challenge and made him one and he loved it. Then I made Boone Frogget's pedal the Mojo Box and then Black Stone Cherry's own Chris Robertson's Dos Fuzz. The business just snowballed after that. Later making Greg Martin's Cedar Flat Lightning that sold really well. I started ghost building pedals for Cumberland Guitars and also All Things Guitar. I've made pedals for Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, Rick Nielsen and Theory of a Deadman. I've enjoyed these past 7 years and I've learned a lot! But, it's time to say goodbye. As of today (10-28-25), Analog Pedals website is closed for business. I've been playing guitar for 43 years. I've played in gospel bands, rock bands, southern rock bands and country bands since the mid 90's. At heart, I am a guitar player and not a pedal builder. I got into making pedals because I couldn't afford a Klon pedal. When I finally figured it out and started making them it opened a whole new world for me. Making fuzz pedals and modulation pedals and modifying wah pedals... It turned into an obsession!
Currently, my band is doing very well. I am on the road a lot and playing shows that I never dreamed I would be playing. Unfortunately, it is taking away from my pedal building time and I've made the tough decision to close shop for now.
I want to thank everyone who has purchased a pedal from me, from the very first until the very last one. I could not have done it without you! I want to thank Clint Fackler with FacklerFX who helped me in my journey in learning electronics, and etching circuit boards. Clint and I designed the Dos Fuzz, the Cedar Flat Lightning and the Sugar Buzz Fuzz circuits. Thank you so much!!! Last but not least, I want to thank my clients who worked with me in designing some incredible pedals. Steve, Boone, Chris, Greg... Thank you so very much!
It makes me sad to close shop, but it is a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I am still going to be ghost building the ATG828 pedals for All Things Guitar and the Wolf Creek Wailer Wah for Cumberland Guitars. So, if you still want a piece of Analog Pedals, go check them out!
Again, Thank you very much for supporting me through the years!
